GoBinder 2006 BETA quick review

22 January 2006Posted By: Tracy

Now that the semester has started, I’m sure many GoBinder (GB) users are wondering if they’re missing out on something neat in GB 2006 sticking with GB 2005 or whatever notes program they are currently using.

In short, if you like the GB “style” and you have a decent amount of RAM and a decent processor, GB 2006 has my stamp of approval for everyday use (I don’t even have 2005 installed anymore). If your tablet stuggles to keep up with you as it is, you may want to wait for the final release since it’s rather clunky right now.

A quick list of some new features and fixes:

I’ll go into more detail about the final program in a later article when it’s released. Feel free to ask any questions about the program in the mean time.

2006 looks pretty handy. Have they managed to add “minimize to system tray” functionality?

  5. Tracy Hooten Says:

Ha, but you don’t know the class numbers ;-).

I haven’t seen a “minimize to system tray” feature, but it’s not too late to request it (maybe). I’ll see what I can do.

Oops, forgot to ask about a feature I’ve been hoping for. Does 2006 have a function to combine multiple notes into one (eg, multiple webpages frm a site printed to GB)?
